Calmer Farmer – a Mornington Peninsula Local
Christine Gorman is a third-generation hobby farmer based in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula. She actively manages 50 acres of livestock including dairy goats, Dorper sheep and beef cattle with her father and has lived here almost her entire life.
Prior to children, Christine was a secondary teacher specialising in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics and since children has completed a Diploma of Agriculture through Ruralbiz Training, College of Agriculture in Dubbo to help increase her own knowledge.
Christine is passionate about trying to improve the land she lives on and hopes to help others to become enthusiastic farmers too.
